My name is Janine and I live and work in the Uk.

I have been working with autistic children now for many years, I trained firstly in general medicine becoming a general nurse.

I then specialized and trained as an SEN(MH) which a state enrolled for the mentally handicapped, it was during this time I first became aware of autism.

After finishing at medical school I decided to work in a specialist unit for children with behavior problems, after more training I began to work mainly with children on the spectrum. I began writing autism social stories about 5 years ago.

I was recently persuaded to put my knowledge and countless autism social stories on the web, I have quickly managed to grow from one website to 8 all offering help, advice and social stories to people on the spectrum or their families, teachers or guardians.
